A farm owner and his family welcomed a new batch of bunnies in their farm, Overlook Acres, on a snowy evening. The farm is located in upstate New York in a small town called Amsterdam. As a result of the cold weather, not all of the bunnies survived their first night. One of the surviving bunnies had been viciously attacked by an older rabbit and became paralyzed from the waist down. You might think that a paralyzed bunny didn’t have much chance at life, but this furry cutie had spirit and spunk.
The farm owner, Jason Ambrosino, and his family christened the young rabbit, Wheels, which is fitting since they gave him a skateboard to scoot around on while roaming around the house. The little rabbit’s enthusiasm inspired the owner to write a book and saved his life from becoming dinner.
